The Vernon police and fire departments are planning a commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on America. The event will take place at Fox Hill Tower at Henry Park.

In order to acknowledge anyone from town affected by the attacks, the organizers are seeking Vernon residents or business owners who have a direct link to the events of that day, such as the loss of a family member.
