Horowitz Pool Open House Scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12

Mayor Dan Champagne and the Vernon Town Council invite the community to the new Horowitz Pool at Henry Park for an open house on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 6 p.m.

Work continues on the pool and bath house and the facility will open next summer for swimming. Swimming will not be available during the open house.

“So many people have told me they are looking forward to having a new Horowitz Pool and I wanted our residents to be able to get a look at the facility before we button it up for the winter,” Mayor Champagne said. “We had hoped to open the pool this summer, but a number of construction challenges prevented that. We’re in the home stretch now.”
