Shop for fresh produce and local foods at our Vernon farmers market at Henry Park, 120 South Street, Vernon, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Mayor Dan Champagne Concert Series follows most markets at 6:30 p.m.

SNAP and WIC vouchers are accepted. You can double SNAP benefits up to $20.

The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program provides pre-loaded debit cards to eligible participants who are 60 or older and meet income guidelines:

• $28,953 for single individual

• $39,128 for two-person household

The cards can be used at the Vernon Farmers Market, as well as farmers markets in neighboring towns such as Ellington and Coventry. Cards are available at Vernon Social Services, 14 Park Place, Vernon. Call 860-870-3661 for more information.

If you need a FREE ride to the Farmers Market, we can help. Call Hockanum Valley Community Council at 860-870-7940 by 4 p.m. on the day of the market to schedule a free ride.
