The Department is also guided by the Town’s Plan of Conservation and Development which sets forth the future land use, development, and conservation priorities of the community, encouraging its sound economic development.

Our staff provides technical guidance and support to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Inland Wetlands Commission, Conservation Commission, Design Review Advisory Board, and the Local Historic Properties Commission.
