Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Review

Preparation of the Fiscal year 2025-2026 budget has begun. Town Council review of the budget begins in March. All council meetings are public and residents are welcome to observe and comment during Citizens Forum.

The review schedule will be posted here when it is available.

 

Fiscal Year 2025 Budget Review

The Vernon Town Council will begin its review of the proposed Fiscal Year 2024-2025 budget on Monday, March 11, in the Council Chambers on the third floor of Town Hall. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Two public hearings on the budget are scheduled. Both take place in the council chambers at Town Hall.

  • 7:05 p.m., Thursday, March 21.
  • 9:05 a.m., Saturday, March 23.

All are welcome to attend the public hearings and to comment on the budget proposal.

The public is also welcome at all budget meetings and can comment during Citizens Forum.

The meeting schedule can be found below under the 2024-2025 Budget tab. The topics for each meeting are listed in each agenda. The proposed budget will be posted here on or about March 7.

The Annual Town Meeting, where the budget proposal is considered, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the auditorium at Rockville High School, 70 Loveland Hill Road.
