Urban Forest Equity Grant

he Town of Vernon is pursuing an Urban Forest Equity Grant that would provide funding to enable the town to expand access to trees and green spaces in disadvantaged communities. A portion of Vernon that is north of South Street, east of West Road, south of the Ellington line and west of Grove and Prospect streets has been identified as being eligible for the program.

The Town of Vernon's Planning Department is hosting a second Community Information meeting on its Urban Forest Equity Grant application.

The Community "Drop In" Session will be online via Zoom on Thursday, April 4 from 6 to 7 p.m.
