Jason Seacat, Chairman

Jeanette Smith, Member

Jeanette Smith has been a member of the Commission since 2022. She is a Connecticut native who loves to connect people to nature. Her most memorable outdoor job was working as an Education Ranger for Colorado Parks and Wildlife focusing on the habitat in and around the Yampa River and Elkhead Reservoir. She can be seen gardening with the Strong Family Farm community gardeners in Vernon, CT, or on the waterways and trails with her dog and husband. 

 

Jeff Carlson, Vice Chair

Jeff Carlson, has been a member of the Commission since 2022, and is retired from the Town of Vernon. He worked in the Water Pollution Control Department. He enjoys fishing with his wife, Mary, when he is not working with her in their decoration business.
