Board of Assessment Appeals Information

 

Motor Vehicle Appeals are generally held anually in September. The application for a Regular Grand List Motor Vehicle BAA Hearing must be submitted to our office by the time of the hearing.

2017 Grand List Motor Vehicle Hearings will be held on September 24, 25 and 26, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. in the Assessor's Office.

2018 Grand List Real Estate, Personal Property, and 2017 Supplemental Motor Vehicle BAA Hearings will be held on March 4, 5 and 6, 2019 from 4-6 p.m. in the Assessor's Office.

2018 Grand List Real Estate, Personal Property, and 2017 Supplemental Motor Vehicle BAA  Application

Real Estate, Personal Property and Supplemental Grand List Motor Vehicle Appeal applications must be submitted no later than February 20th for hearings held in each year in March. 

Schedules are published in the Journal Inquirer prior to the hearings and are also posted in the Assessor’s and Town Clerk’s Offices. Anyone aggrieved with the results of the hearing may file suit in Superior Court within sixty days of the results.
